"THE PATCH HOLDER" Any that desire a Patch desires a Good Work. They must be Vigilant, Sober, of Good Behavior, They must have their House in Order, They cannot be a novice, lest they be lifted up with Pride and fall into the Condemnation of the Devil. They must be given to Hospitality, not given to Wine, No Striker, Not a Brawler, Not Covetous; They must have a Good Report of them outside the Church; lest they fall into the snare of the Devil.
